You can confidently book your car in for a service at either the Thomastown or Keilor Park stores.

We only work on 4X4 vehicles. Our experience in recreational and competition four wheel driving means that we know what to look for and what we are looking at. We follow the manufactures hand book service schedule so that your new car warranty is not compromised however we don’t blindly replace parts because the book says so.

Over many years we have devised a service approach that looks at each vehicle on its merits. For example a 40K service schedule may demand that the brake pads are replaced and in most dealerships this will be done and you will be charged regardless of how much life is left in the pads. Our service manager in consultation with the service technician will assess the vehicle and after giving you a ring decide what needs replacing or improving.

You are part of the process and make most of the decisions based on our advice by phone, email or text. This saves any nasty expensive bills when you come to pick your vehicle up.

At ARB Thomastown and Keilor Park we only employ qualified Automotive Mechanics to service your vehicle. Unlike a dealership where only a small percentage of a service technician’s work is on 4X4 vehicles, our technician’s spend all day every day on 4X4’s and we only employ enthusiasts who also spend all weekend in the forest’s, desert’s and beaches around Victoria four wheel driving. They live and breathe 4X4 vehicles, they understand how all the systems on your vehicle operate and they know what can and does go wrong and how to avoid it.

Because we have one of Melbourne’s, if not Australia’s, largest service customer lists we are very familiar with your vehicle type and also what your specific usage means to the vehicle set up and maintenance program. We can advise you on so much more than just grease and oil change and we allocate more time per vehicle than any dealership trying to pump through as many vehicles a day as they can.
